You can just see the disappointment on her face now when she sees the price and figures that with everything she's paying now, she won't be able to afford to get them for herself.It kills you to see your girlfriend the way she is with that sad, disappointed look on her face and you want her to be happy. You may think to yourself that she has a birthday coming up and as a surprise you would want to get her those for her birthday but you won't be able to go back in the store now because she will think something's up.
You would have to go back to the store at a later date and pick them up for her. Don't forget to keep that store in mind as you leave so you can remember which store would have what you would be looking for. You could probably try other stores too that would have them but first go to that store because that store might be cheaper than all the other stores.
The next time you go back to the store and to that same store then you may run into a problem such as they ran out of the shoes in her size. Don't worry about it because you do have other options. Try going to different stores and see out of the rest of the stores which one has the cheapest price and which store would have the ones in her size.
If you're still not having any luck, try searching for them online. The only bad thing about that would be is that it would take longer to get delivered, and her birthday might be just around the corner. You want to start going shopping for her in advance so that way in case something like this does happen you will have her present for her in plenty time to spare.
If something like that does happen when it's her birthday and she feels as though you didn't get her anything, just let her know that you had to order her gift and it should be here soon. Just apologize that it's late and let her know that it will be worth waiting for.
